Open Up Your Living Space With Steel Beams
This basement had 3 columns in the middle which have been removed and replaced with 1 beam allowing this homeowner the opportunity to finally have a space to use his grandfather's pool table
Removing a load bearing wall gave this homeowner the open space for a new kitchen design
This basement had seven columns which were removed and replaced with a steel beam needing only two columns. A crucial step in this homeowner's journey to finish off his basement

As part of a major commercial revamp, this column was to be removed
We installed inverted trusses to transfer the load from above and now that column is no longer needed
The property owners noticed the brick facade on the exterior of this building was bowing. Based on our experience and a visual inspection, we determined that the issue was a rotted sill plate and rim joist. Once we removed the brick facade, you can clearly see the extent of what turned out to be termite and water damage
We properly jacked the building and replaced the sill plate and rim joist for the full length of the building. After this picture, we replaced much of the first floor wall framing, which was also damaged. To prevent this from happening again, we had the area sprayed for termites and then we installed drainage
The chimney in the basement is falling down and needs to be removed but the homeowner wanted the upstairs portion to be saved for aesthetics
Here, the chimney is properly supported with a new steel column and footing without any disturbance to the portion above
After excavation, the extent of the damage to this non-reinforced cinder block wall can be seen. The hydrostatic pressure caused severe damage
We installed a new footing, waterproofed CMU wall, footing drain and gutter drainage. This wall is now built to last. By fixing the root cause, we know this will never happen again
The homeowner noticed the wall had horizontal cracking and was bowing therefore, the wall needed to be replaced. This is the house jacked up with the wall removed and ready for a new wall to be installed

When we first arrived, the porch was sinking. The existing piers were not adequate depth and the frost heave was moving this porch all around
