Before work began: Foundation wall has collapsed and the entire first floor framing has been compromised due to termites
First floor framing has been repaired and now the foundation walls are being removed
Foundation walls are being rebuilt properly with reinforcement
Foundation walls are complete
New LVL main beam installed with three new columns and new footings
Stone being laid in preparation for footing drains to be installed during the waterproofing process
This basement had 3 columns in the middle which have been removed and replaced with 1 beam allowing this homeowner the opportunity to finally have a space to use his grandfather's pool table
Removing a load bearing wall gave this homeowner the open space for a new kitchen design
This basement had seven columns which were removed and replaced with a steel beam needing only two columns. A crucial step in this homeowner's journey to finish off his basement
This is during the process of creating a larger door opening. Right now this dealership can only fit cars and small SUVs through the door
Now that the opening is larger, the dealership can fit all the cars, SUVs and small trucks that they sell through this door for service and repair
The homeowner noticed the porch was bouncy and sagging in areas. We removed the floor to find the main support structure for the floor was rotted
New LVL main supports were installed and many compromised intermediate joists were replaced making this porch stronger than when it was new
The chimney in the basement is falling down and needs to be removed but the homeowner wanted the upstairs portion to be saved
Here, the chimney is properly supported with a new steel column and footing without any disturbance to the portion above
The homeowner noticed the wall had horizontal cracking and was bowing therefore, the wall needed to be replaced. This is the house jacked up with the wall removed and ready for a new wall to be installed
A new CMU wall has been installed and waterproofed. Also shown is a new footing drain
When we first arrived, the side foundation wall had collapsed
A new wall has been constructed. The jacks are now ready to be taken down and the project can be completed
Project: Parged and waterproofed foundation wall
Comments: Tim was a true professional from beginning to end. We had an 1870's rear foundation wall with a water problem that everyone else kept telling us to spray foam and forget about. Tim was the only one who we felt really had an understanding of how to permanently fix our water issue. Out of all the contractors we have worked with on our Victorian house restoration, we found Tim to be the most knowledgeable in his field. He is an old school iron worker with an intense understanding of structure. In addition, he is not scared off from the difficulties our foundation project presented-poor excavating access over a 9' retaining wall, no driveway for bringing in or removing fill. Nor did he back down when we discovered an old cistern trapping water near the foundation, an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. With Tim's expertise, the project kept rolling. All of Tim's team members are extremely professional, kind, polite and hard working. If structural knowledge and attention to finer details (he even cleaned out my gutters after he found them to be running slowly after a rain storm) are what you are after, then hire Tim immediately. We are eternally grateful!

Project: Waterproof foundation wall to stop leaking into basement
Comments: Tim was the only pro who contacted me and made an appointment to inspect the house foundation and driveway adjacent to the foundation where the leaking was occurring. He looked at the pitch of the yard behind the house and from the driveway to the house. After a thorough inspection outside the house, he and his son Jake went into the basement to see where the water leaking was most prevalent. Following these two inspections he made verbal recommendations to correct the problems. He followed this up with written proposal for the work, along with a cost estimate. After receiving this, I sent him a detailed email with questions about the proposal, which he promptly answered, to my satisfaction and I agreed to have him do the work. On the agreed start date, he was on time with his excavator and crew of 2 to start the project. Weather was a factor and I was amazed how quickly they did the foundation repair, built a temporary wooden step with small deck into the back door of the house and laid the underground conduit for the electric power to the garage. There have been several heavy rain falls since this project was completed and the water leak is gone. The driveway project is scheduled for Spring 2020 when the weather will be more conducive to replacing the driveway. I highly recommend Diggs Building Technologies Corp for all phases of foundation repairs and related draining problems.

Project: Repair a Concrete Foundation
Comments: I called Diggs Building Technologies Corp and was able to speak to Tim right away. I was fortunate that Tim could come to my house the next business day to evaluate the eroding block foundation situation that I had. I was provided an expert opinion and quote the same day. Impressed with Tim s knowledge, experience and great reviews on Home Advisor, I hired Diggs to perform the work. Tim also knew that I wanted to get the blocks replaced before the weather turned cold. Tim started the very next day and had the job done within two days. He also had looked around the house and advised that I should add fill around my foundation to adjust the required pitch for water runoff. Thank you Tim for all of your advice and suggestions! I would highly recommend Diggs Building Technologies Corp for any foundation work you have around your home!

Project: Repair a Concrete Foundation

Project: Repair a Concrete Foundation
Comments: Tim Hillman and his team were great to work with. I have a 105 year old house, which had an addition built over 40+ years ago, over a crawl space. The foundation of the addition had become unstable & the main support beam under the original part of the house had some bowing. Tim contacted me in less than 24 hours & came over to assess the situation. He determined that it was a two part problem. He could do phase 1 now & the other part in the Spring. He gave me a written estimate for phase 1, which I accepted. Within two weeks, the phase 1 project, which included a new steel support beam under the crawl space & stabilization of the main support beam of the original house, was completed. This type of work is not cheap; but, Tim gave me a very fair price. He did everything that he said that he was going to do; and, he did it well. He worked quickly and he stayed in constant communication with me. I really appreciated his service; and, I look forward to working with him in the Spring on Phase 2 of this project.

We would not hesitate to recommend Diggs Building Technologies Crop to anyone.
